Commerz Real sells London office complex Athene Place to Henderson Park
Commerz Real has sold its London property Athene Place for approx. 101 million pounds sterling to the real estate investment platform Henderson Park. Located in Shoe Lane in Midtown, the office complex has been part of the portfolio of the open-ended real estate fund hausInvest since 2008. “We have utilised the high demand for office real estate in premium locations in London to achieve a very good result for our investors,” explains Henning Koch, Global Head of Transaction Management at Commerz Real.
Athene Place was erected in 2002 and encompasses a total of 13,800 square metres of leasable space in two wings on nine storeys. With the exception of two smaller gastronomy units, approx. 97 per cent of the property is leased to Deloitte.
