Commerz Real leases out 13,000 square metres of office space in Paris
Commerz Real has leased approx. 13,000 square metres in the Paris office building “Palatin 2 & 3”, owned by its open-ended real estate fund hausInvest, for up to ten years to the French energy infrastructure company Réseau de Transport d’Electricité.
“Palatin” – located in the business district La Défense – has approx. 23,000 square metres of leasable space on seven storeys. In the past 12 months the building has been comprehensively refurbished to plans by the architectural office Arte Charpentier and oriented to a multi-tenant concept. This concept includes office space areas of 2,500 square metres upwards, as well as a reception service, a new restaurant and a fitness centre. Following the refurbishment it received the environmental certificates Haute Qualité Environnementale (HQE) and BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Methodology) with a rating of “very good”. “The current leasing success in a difficult partial market such as La Défense confirms that our strategy is the correct one,” says Roland Holschuh, the member of the board of Commerz Real responsible, among other things, for leasing management.
Commerz Real was advised by the lease advisory company BNPPRE and by the law firm IC Avocats.
