Social Day 2022: Commerz Real X Little Home e.V.
The search for a dry, warm and, above all, safe place to sleep often robs homeless people of a lot of time and energy. This is where the association Little Home e.V. comes into play: it builds housing containers of just under 35 square feet in size – the eponymous Little Homes – for homeless people. These are not intended to be a permanent replacement for an apartment, but offer the opportunity for the homeless to rest, find some peace, recharge their batteries and find their way back into work and a permanent abode.
Together with Little Home e.V. in September 2022 Commerz Real is building a total of 10 little homes at its main sites in Wiesbaden and Düsseldorf.
Together with Little Home we want to help people without a fixed abode find their way back into a settled life.
